Join us April 2nd for the first of the Wednesdays at Winterthur garden series. You haven’t really experienced the full glory of spring until you’ve walked through the March Bank on a bright April day. The slopes of the March Bank are alive with masses of color and lush textures from thousands of bulbs and wildflowers. Please join Amy Bloom, Winterthur Horticulturist, for a walk to discuss and identify what types of plants create this display. We will look at their characteristics, requirements and overall maintenance and enjoy the splendor of spring.
Meet at 11:30am at the Greenhouse Area. Dress for the weather and wear walking shoes! Lasts approximately one hour.
No reservations necessary. Included with all admission tickets. Members free
More information about Wednesdays at Winterthur and other garden programs can be found on our homepage.

Congratulations to Amy. Great turnout on a beautiful day in March Bank!
The March Bank looks the most magnificent I have ever seen it. The colors are shocking!! How long will it be like this?
The blue flowered bulbs are about to give way to the blue of bluebells and the white of windflowers – another great phase of the March Bank that will last a couple of weeks. Thanks Tara.
