Loads of plants are blooming in the Winterthur Garden today. Snow drops, winter aconites, adonis, spring snowflakes, winter jasmine, witchhazel, and “Tommy” crocus are all out to greet spring and delight the observant garden lover. Pick up a copy of “March Bank Spring Flower Highlights” at the visitor center and take a trek in this early-spring/late-winter paradise garden.
Before you go, check out this blog article. Many of the same plants are in full bloom at Winterthur.

The blue phase of the March Bank featuring Glory-of-the-Snow (Chionodoxa lucilliae) and Siberian Squill (Scilla sibirica) is not quite here yet, though I did see a few squill opening yesterday. Look for the hills of blue during the last week of March. I’ll keep you posted.
