Be sure and stop by the Farmstand on Saturday morning for your pick of the first crop of heirloom tomatoes. The hours of the market are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and it is located at Gate 2 (the gate just south of our entrance). This week’s farmstand promises some of the usual appetizing fare–just what you need to create a memorable summer picnic!
SIW Vegetables will feature corn, beans, and other summer favorites. Our first week SIW sold 400 ears of corn in 2 hours so I am sure they will bring plenty this week.
Maiale Salumeria will bring made-from-scratch sausages and cured meats. Perfect for throwing on the grill.
Mushroom Café will offer their supply of fresh gourmet and locally grown mushrooms and an assortment of other ready-to-serve soups and salads.
Finish off your weekend picnic with delectable homemade fudge from the Fudge Drum, or buy a treat for your pet from our new vendor, Eskiko, which features homemade and organic pet treats for you dogs and cats.
